2022 QLD Covid clinic visit requirements

As most of you would be aware, the State Government has advised of new processes to be implemented by the 17th of December in all Allied Health clinics. The Queensland Government has advised that no child, young person, parent, guardian or carer will be denied access to care or treatment based on their vaccination status.

Therefore, as of the 17th of December, All About Kids and Health 4 Minds will be using the following processes:

  1. If you are under 16 years old, there are no restrictions and you may enter the clinic.
  2. If you are over 16 years old and vaccinated,  please check in using the QLD check in app and show admin/clinician your tick confirmation or vaccination certificate. This information will be uploaded onto our secure system for future appointments. This will need to be completed every time you attend our clinics.
  3. If you are over 16 years old and unvaccinated, please check in using the QLD check in app, wear a single use mask and where you can, safely physically distance from others.

Note: Only one unvaccinated person (over 16 years old) may accompany the child into the clinic. We will also have a manual sign in option if needed.

We understand that some people may have questions or concerns regarding these new Queensland Health directives. However, we are motivated to ensure all of our services are not impacted during this period.

We will continue to offer phone and zoom appointments to clients who would prefer this service. Currently, some types of funding including medicare, NDIS and Brisbane Mind referrals support online appointments.

We will endeavour to keep everyone up to date and should any changes be made prior to this date, we will notify all clients via email.

Please advise us at reception@allaboutkids.com.au if you will NOT be able to attend the clinic due to these restrictions and we will help facilitate other arrangements.

Working together to provide the best
possible support for your family.
