Occupational Therapist Team Leader

Cameron is a driven and passionate Occupational Therapist who strives to provide meaningful and enjoyable intervention to provide children with the best possible opportunity for growth. Cameron’s passions originate from experiencing the world of professional medical and allied health industry from a young age in his own family background and seeing first hand the importance of a client and family centred approach to therapy. After graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast Queensland, Cameron spent the first 2 years working in a private paediatric clinic in the north shore of Sydney before beginning at All About Kids. Over the course of his career as an OT and in other industries whilst studying, Cameron has gained experience in the disability and play therapy sectors, school-based and both public/private paediatric therapy fields. Cameron has worked with a number of families with neurodiverse and complex needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, learning difficulties, genetic conditions, Global Developmental Delay, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Sensory Processing difficulties, anxiety, toileting and Prep/School readiness. This also includes supporting high school aged adolescents in school provisions to manage chronic handwriting difficulties. Being a male therapist, Cameron also enjoys working with adolescent young males who need assistance building life skills and providing further mentoring support. More recently Cameron has completed further training in DIR Floortime and Circle of Security, which has ignited a passion of supporting families in learning how to play with their children and build a strong foundation for relationships for younger children. Cameron is currently able to offer a Circle of Security program as a 1 on 1 service with parents in person or via telehealth.
