Debbie Walker

Senior Speech and Language Pathologist

Debbie Walker Debbie graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991 and has worked at a Speech and Language Pathologist since this time. She has extensive experience in working with children in early years, as well as with learning difficulties and Autism. Debbie has recently returned to Australia from Scotland where she worked in the clinic, school, preschool and home environments with clients with a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties. Debbie also had a lead role in an Autism Diagnostic team based in the North of Glasgow.

Debbie has always enjoyed working closely with children and families to help them find the best ways to enhance language and communication, as these skills are fundamental for later social and educational success. She is skilled at looking at the needs, motivations and interests for each client in order to find the next way forward for each family.
