Occupational Therapist

Saskia Wright

Saskia is a Paediatric Occupational Therapist who graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). Since graduating, she has been dedicated to supporting children and their families using a strength-based and family-centred approach.

Saskia is passionate about building strong, collaborative relationships with the children and families she works with, empowering them to achieve their individual goals. She tailors her sessions to each child’s unique needs, focusing on developing their strengths, interests, and skills to support meaningful participation across home, school, and community environments.

Originally from South Africa, Saskia moved to Australia in 2020 to pursue her career in Occupational Therapy and make a positive impact in the lives of young people. Alongside her clinical work, Saskia has experience as a dance teacher, which has enhanced her ability to creatively adapt activities and understand each child’s individual learning and developmental profile.

Saskia has completed additional training in DIR Floortime, a child-led approach that supports children and their families to develop skills through play while fostering meaningful connections and strong relational foundations. She is also a facilitator of the Puberty Plus group program, supporting girls aged 8–12 to learn about puberty, hygiene, self-care, and life skills within a safe and supportive environment.
